First check out your nearest animal shelter because there is always an abandoned or
stray cat or kitten available to love.

In the United States there are many Animal Shelters

that take in strays. Pets that have been abandon by their

owners. These are some of the reasons there are shelters

for these discarded pets.

There is a new website that has a contest that shelters

can enter to win a shelter make over. The winner is choosen by how many points accumulated during the contest.
